Honey Lavender Cookies: A tribute to Pinnebog Creek Lavender Farm

I am forever grateful to Pinnebog Creek Lavender Farm in Bad Axe Michigan for sharing their lavender and their recipe for these delicate, fragrant, buttery cookies. I was introduced to Pinnebog Creek and their lavender products by my friend Darnell who hails from Bad Axe. You may ask, “Bad Axe, where is Bad Axe?” Ask someone from Michigan and they will describe the location by using that unique Michigan technique of holding up one hand and and starting with ‘the thumb’ in hopes of orienting you to their beautiful state.

Because of Darnell, I have had the opportunity to enjoy many of the responsibly grown lavender products from her cousins farm. To my great joy, these high quality, grown with love products made their way to south Louisiana. For four years Pinnebog Creek Farm harvested lavender from their fields for fresh and dried bouquets, soaps, oils, sachets, aromatherapy pillows, insect repellents and more. One thing was certain, Pinnebog Farms brought a smile to many faces as the lavender fields reached full bloom each summer. I guarantee that these lavender cookies will do the same for you as you dream of fields of lavender. Thank you Pinnebog Creek Lavender Farm.
