This avocado chocolate mousse is dairy free, gluten free, low in cholesterol and sugar. Most importantly, it is smooth, silky and rich with a dense chocolate flavor leaving you feeling less guilty, perhaps. No cooking required!

Ingredients
- 6 oz coconut milk
- 1/2 cup agave
- 2 TBSP coconut oil ( Coconut oil is high in saturated fat. I cut back the oil in this recipe to 1-2 TBSP and still get the same results)
- 2 large avocados
- 6 TBSP cocoa
- Roasted coconut flakes
Instructions
- Using a blender or a food processor, add peeled and seeded avocado cut into large chunks. Then add coconut milk, coconut oil, agave, and cocoa. Place the lid on the blender.
- Blend all ingredients at high speed until thick, creamy and smooth.
- Remove from blender/processor. Pour or spoon into individual small ramekins or bowls or one large bowl. Garnish with fresh roasted coconut flakes.
- You may choose to serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve. If refrigerated, remove from the fridge about 15-20 minutes before serving allowing the mousse to come to room temperature.
- Servings : 6 small bowls or ramekins, approximately 4 oz each
